The little-known search ranking hack we probably shouldn't be sharing

It's time to share a cheeky little hack that's been circulating among my marketing friends for the last few months. It enables you to bypass the time-consuming ranking process of search engines. I'm probably going to regret sharing this, as it has been a secret sauce with a couple of clients recently, and I had a lot of success with one particular client who has a new domain.

What is this shortcut? It is so deceptively simple - leveraging Claude Artefacts.

By publishing content through Anthropic’s Claude platform, you can leverage its domain authority to achieve rapid visibility for your content, even in competitive niches.

What is a Claude Artefact?

A Claude Artefact is basically a blog post, article, or piece of content that Claude (Anthropic’s AI) writes for you and publishes on its own website, Claude.ai.

Because Claude.ai is a trusted, high-authority domain, search engines pay attention to these pages much faster than if you put the same content on your own site. In short, it’s a way to quickly get useful, keyword-rich content live on a domain search engines already trust.

Why Claude Artefacts boost search rankings

• Leverages domain authority: Claude Artefacts are hosted on Claude.ai, a high-authority domain with a strong domain rating. Google trusts content published on such platforms, which means your content gets an immediate credibility boost.

• Rapid indexing: While new or low-authority websites often wait weeks to get indexed, Claude Artefacts are usually picked up quickly by Google, sometimes within half a day.

• Fresh content advantage: Most search engines (including SEO, AEO and GEO) reward fresh, relevant content. Publishing new Claude Artefacts regularly helps you tap into this ranking signal, ensuring your brand shows up when prospects are actively searching.

So, what is the process in creating these artefacts?

1. Log in to Claude

2. Put your prompt in. My trick is to use a prompt that you would typically use to write a blog or a page of content, such as 'add keywords,' etc. Sometimes I will share a webpage I already have and then prompt Claude to rewrite it with the keywords, etc.

3. Once Claude has rewritten this and you are happy, then go to “Share” at the top right-hand corner, select “Public Access” and click "Create share link", then you are done!

TL:DR Does it work?

Yes, it took a site with a Domain Authority of basically zero and increased it by 7 points in under two weeks. I’m interested to see how long this hack will continue to work.

Final Thoughts

For marketers, speed matters. Getting the right content in front of the right audience at the right time can mean the difference between a missed lead and a closed deal.

Will publishing Claude Artefacts solve all your problems? Probably not. It isn’t a silver bullet, but it’s a low-cost lever that accelerates visibility, builds trust, and fuels growth.
